This course is an introduction to the art of photographing horses. Whether you want to be a professional equine industry photographer, or just want to shoot extraordinary pictures of your horses. This course will explain all the details of the camera, light, angles, and the unique skills related to horse photography. 

This course includes seven lessons, with photo assignments as part of each lesson. You also have access to a private Facebook Group to help ask questions during, and after the course.
 
This course will help provide a better understanding of your camera, settings, and how to improve your equine photography personally, and professionally.

Photography Workshops

WORKSHOPS ARE HELD THROUGHOUT THE YEAR LOCALLY.  WE ARE UPDATING OUR 2022 SCHEDULE AND WORKING ON CREATING ONLINE COURSES THAT ARE SELF-PACED. 

DEVELOPING YOUR EYE
An introduction to beginning photography, and how to shoot in manual mode. This course will help you understand your camera, camera settings, and how to improve your skills.  

SEEING THE LIGHT - One
Introduction to finding the natural light outdoors, and proper exposure. You will learn about working with natural light (indoors or outdoors), using modifiers (diffusers, reflectors), white balance, and color temperature.

SEEING THE LIGHT - Two
This course will focus on studio lighting and proper exposure. You will learn about camera settings, strobes, understanding how to properly light your model, getting “the shot”, and quick tips on post-processing.
