Their Story: Kory & Amylee

Kory and Amylee met through a mutual friend named Lynzee, who had both of their best interests in mind.  She used to babysit Kory’s son Jayce, which is how Lynzee knew Kory.  Amylee knew Lynzee from when they were carefree teenagers. Lynzee came to visit Amylee to catch up on old times, and told her about this great single dad that she knew and what a really sweet guy he was.  Turns out, after visiting with Amylee, Lynzz went and told Kory all about Amylee! Kory and Amylee did a little Facebook friendly “stalking” and looked each other up and started messaging each other back and forth. Kory shared some of his son Jayce’s hand-me-downs for her son Mason, which was their first time meeting face to face. After that, they started hanging out as friends and Kory won her over with his kindness and generosity. They fell in love pretty quickly after that.  As they say….the rest is history.  (Story provided by Amylee)

The Wedding
Kory & Amylee were married at the Wenatchee Golf & Country Club in East Wenatchee.  The country club provided a beautiful backdrop for their wedding day.  Their first look was underneath a beautiful tree on the 15th green.  When Kory saw Amylee for the first time…she literally took his breath away.  Those next ten minutes…they didn’t know I was there as they took in those first few moments of seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day.

They were married on the patio under a beautiful arbor that was made for their wedding day that will become a part of their backyard.  What a great reminder of their wedding day and wedding vows, each time they see the arbor.  The reception moved indoors to the main ballroom that was decorated with different shades of pink including their beautiful wedding cake that provided a beautiful centerpiece in the middle of the room.  Another amazing touch is the first image below in the blog post, the groom’s mom made the “LOVE” sign which sat above the fireplace right when you walked into the venue.  I loved the sign and she did a fantastic job!  What another great way to remember their day….what brought them to the moment they said “I do”….L.O.V.E.!

The Venue: Wenatchee Golf & Country Club
The Wenatchee Golf & Country Club is a private, member owned Club that was founded in 1923 as a 9-hole golf course. The back nine was added in the mid 50’s.  It’s a beautiful venue with a full-service clubhouse to accommodate any wedding or event.
