Cave B Winery Wedding | Blake and Diana Married

30

Aug

Blake & Diana were married at Cave B Winery followed by a small ceremony…in the cave.

The Wedding:

I love learning story’s of how people met and what brought them together.

An unexpected meeting leads to an unforgettable love.  Diana and Blake had a few connections between them.  They had mutual friends.  Along with mutual friends, Diana’s father played basketball with Blake and Blake’s dad, Gary.

They were destined to meet either through her father or mutual friends.  (I’m a romantic at heart).  Blake and Diana’s first official meeting, was on a boat through their mutual friends.  They headed out on a boat ride to Coupeville with their mutual friends for dinner and drinks and hit it off from the moment they met.

Their wedding was filled with love, close friends and family.  Blake’s children were a big part of the day and adored Diana.  I loved how they were incorporated in the ceremony.  Everyone who was a part of their day, was made to feel included and special.  Diana’s sister, Christina is a wedding planner and she did a remarkable job putting together her sisters wedding.  There were so many little touches throughout, down to a corsage or Boutineer for each guest.

While Diana was getting ready, her mom surprised her with a hankie that was “something old and something blue”.  It was beautiful.  I caught the moment with my camera!

You could feel the excitement of the day, the love between Diana and Blake and the love surrounding them. I was inspired watching the two of them together and how much they love each other.  I loved so many moments from their wedding day, but I think the one that melts my heart the most is Diana dancing with her dad and the absolute joy in his eyes.  There is such a special bond between a dad and a daughter and you could see it when they danced.  That image still melts my heart.

Thank you Blake and Diana for letting me be a part of your day!  I wish you all the best in your new life together!
