Some businesses begin with a product. THAT’S A WRAP began with Julie Foss’s love for North Central Washington, the people who create here, and her belief that a beautiful gift should have a story behind it.
Julie launched THAT’S A WRAP in 2025 after seeing a need for truly local gift options that felt personal, memorable, and worthy of the moment they were chosen to celebrate. As a former flower farmer in Leavenworth, she already understood the value of creating something beautiful by hand. She also knew how much talent could be found in the farms, wineries, markets, and small businesses throughout our region.
She took that connection to local makers and turned it into a gifting business unlike anything else in North Central Washington.
“I knew our region needed better gifting options that showcased the premium products already at our fingertips,” Julie said. “After meeting so many talented local artisans, I wanted to continue that connection, celebrating their work and helping others give gifts that feel personal, meaningful, and rooted here.”

Gifts With a Story
From Twisp to Prosser, Julie works directly with small-batch artisans, farmers, wineries, and craftspeople to create curated gift boxes and luxury baskets filled with products from our region.
These are not generic gift baskets assembled from mass-produced items. Julie personally connects with the makers, samples their products, learns their stories, and selects pieces that represent the quality and character of North Central Washington.
Her collections may include estate-grown wine, locally made candles and soaps, gourmet foods, handcrafted goods, and products from businesses such as Armour Winery, Fielding Hills Winery, Almond Blossom, KR Farms, Black Rock Farmstead, and Infuse Organics.
Each collection is built almost like a recipe. Julie brings together products from Chelan, Leavenworth, Wenatchee, Cashmere, Twisp, and beyond to create a finished gift that feels cohesive, elevated, and connected to this region.
“I take the time to personally connect with each maker, sampling their products, hearing their stories, and understanding their craft,” Julie said. “My goal is to feature those who are passionate about what they create and to help their products reach new customers, keeping both the heart and the dollars close to home.”
One of Julie’s signature collections, the Columbia Reserve, features products from 11 small businesses. One gift supports an entire network of local makers while giving the recipient something they will be genuinely excited to open.

One Gift Can Support an Entire Community of Makers
The products inside Julie’s collections carry their own stories.
At Fielding Hills Winery in Chelan, wine is tied to four generations of farming history. When one of those bottles travels outside the area in a THAT’S A WRAP collection, it gives the recipient a taste of Lake Chelan and introduces them to a winery built around family, agriculture, and community.
In Cashmere, Almond Blossom creates flavored nut mixes that are handmade locally. Being included in Julie’s gift boxes helps those products reach new customers while supporting a growing family business in the Wenatchee Valley.
Julie also works with makers such as Ruthie Erwert, known as the Soap Lady with KR Farms at Pybus Public Market, Kellie Allen of Black Rock Farmstead in Chelan, Sarah and Tyler Armour of Armour Winery in East Wenatchee’s Trades District, and Sarah Michels of Infuse Organics in Leavenworth.
This is what makes THAT’S A WRAP different. The recipient opens one beautiful gift, but behind it is an entire network of real people creating exceptional products throughout North Central Washington.
“Every box we ship is made by real people,” Julie said. “People make better products than machines. That’s the lifeline of this business.”

Make It Personal. Make It Memorable.
Personalization is a major part of the THAT’S A WRAP experience. Complimentary custom engraving is available on wooden gift boxes, wine openers, cutting boards, and candle lids.
Clients can add a name, date, logo, or personal message to create a gift designed specifically for the person receiving it. That makes these collections a strong choice for birthdays, weddings, client appreciation, employee gifts, housewarmings, holidays, and major life moments.
Julie makes professional gifting feel personal and personal gifting feel beautifully handled.

Sustainable Gifting Without Sacrificing Presentation
The packaging is part of the gift, not something designed to be immediately thrown away. Julie uses reusable wooden boxes, recyclable cardboard, and natural shredded Aspen filler whenever possible.
The result is a luxury presentation with less waste. Boxes and packaging can be recycled, repurposed, or reused long after the original gift has been opened.
It is a practical approach that fits the business perfectly. Beautiful, useful, local, and created with purpose.

Creating Branding Photos That Look Like THAT’S A WRAP
For Julie’s branding session in my Wenatchee studio, we wanted to create more than a polished headshot. The images needed to show the woman behind THAT’S A WRAP and give her a full collection of photographs she could use across her website, social media, press features, marketing, and future campaigns.
We photographed Julie with the details that make her business recognizable, including her signature packaging, locally sourced products, custom pieces, and finished gifts. We also created professional portraits that introduce Julie as the founder and show the personal service behind every order.
That combination matters. Customers want to see the product, but they also want to know who they are buying from. Julie is not simply filling boxes. She is building relationships with local makers, selecting every item, and creating gifts that represent both the sender and the region she calls home.
Her branding photos needed to show all of that.

A Local Business Worth Knowing
THAT’S A WRAP makes it easy to give something beautiful without settling for something ordinary. Whether someone is welcoming a new resident, thanking a client, celebrating a milestone, or sending a piece of North Central Washington to someone far away, Julie creates a gift that feels personal from the moment it arrives.
Her work supports more than the person receiving the gift. It introduces customers to local businesses, keeps more dollars within the region, and allows the work of North Central Washington’s farmers, winemakers, and artisans to travel far beyond the valley.
