Equine Photography Course
The Essence of Equine Photography
In this course you will be introduced to digital cameras, shutter speeds, light readings, panning, posing, editing and storing equine photographs. If you’ve never used a digital camera, or you’ve been using one for years, you’re going to get the “how-to’s” and “insider” tips and tricks for taking great pictures of horses and riders. You will also learn how to improve your overall photography skills!
Equine Photography is an elective course which earns credit toward an accredited Bachelor of Science in Equine Studies degree or certification as a Professional Horse Trainer or Riding Instructor. HorseCoursesOnline.com is the worldwide leader in online equine study programs for colleges and universities, serving more than 4,000 students in 27 countries. You do not need to be a student to take the equine photography course.
The seven-lesson course begins with an introduction to photography. Lesson 2 is all about the camera while lesson 3 defines exposure. Lesson 4 is the “art of seeing & finding the light” and lesson 5 helps the student define his/her style. Lesson 6 teaches the setting of the pose, while the final lesson teaches how to capture the motion of the horse and finishes with how to archive images.
The course description and outline can be found at www.horsecoursesonline.com along with my faculty biography and complete details on the equine study programs offered by Horse Courses Online.
