Photography isn’t just a job for me; it’s a calling, a passion that drives everything I do. With over 25 years of experience, I’ve come to understand the profound impact a single photograph can have. It’s a window to the soul, a timeless testament to the beauty and complexity of life.

One of my clients, Megan, shared a special session in the studio with her beautiful daughter as part of my 40 Over 40 project, which celebrates women over 40 and the idea that we get better with age. Megan is a breast cancer warrior, and we spent a wonderful day in the studio celebrating her victories and creating lasting memories with her daughter.

That’s what I do – I capture more than just portraits. I capture the memories that matter, create timeless treasures, and build friendships along the way.

Commitment to Continuous Learning

Every three years, I renew my certification through the Professional Photographers of America (PPA). This involves continuing education, clock hours, and workshops, keeping me current with industry trends, and refining my skills.

But my journey doesn’t end with certification renewal. With each cycle, I am inspired to push the boundaries of my artistry further. Currently, I’m only 7 merits away from completing my second Master’s, a goal I’m determined to achieve. This pursuit through PPA signifies my dedication to excellence and my commitment to mastering my craft.
